When he was still a teenager, John worked as a mechanic on agricultural equipment, a formative experience for his problem-solving skills and his subsequent love for construction. Starting in 1997, John joined the Carpenter’s Union and began partaking in numerous residential and commercial construction projects.
For over 25 years, John has been involved in the building trades, even going on to obtain his Illinois Real Estate Brokers license to become more skilled and knowledgeable on that side of the industry. Now as a professional home inspector, John is able to combine his experience in construction and real estate to help protect the interests of home-buyers—providing an honest assessment of a home that will inform and secure a pending real estate transaction.

When he’s not inspecting homes, John loves to spend time outdoors with his wonderful family and their pets. Some of John’s hobbies include hunting, sports shooting, drag racing, and flying drones—as well as his RC helicopter!
